Registration for Membership Year 2013 (Fall 2013 / Spring 2014) open
Spaces are limited and will be assigned on a first-come first-served basis. The registration fee for Membership Year 2013 is $180. Payment may be made online at the time of application. Only paid applications, or where special arrangements have been made with our Commissioner, will be considered. Refunds will be issued to anyone who does not get placed on a team.
Apply by using the AYSO electronic registration web site, www.eAYSO.org. A guide to applying online using eAYSO.org can be downloaded by clicking here. Also, please read these special notes before using eAYSO.
Players will be placed on wait lists if all openings have been filled and will be added to teams as we receive player drops, usually closer to the start of the season. Due to the expanded certified coach requirement, our capacity to create teams is limited to the number of certified coaches who have volunteered. The best chance of securing a roster spot for your child is to get their registration form in early and volunteer to coach. Team assignment is done on a first-come, first-served model based on when you complete registration. Also, remember that registration is not complete until you submit payment (or contact our Commissioner or Registrar to request a scholarship if necessary).
* Payment is made using the "Online payments" link found from the home page of eAYSO.org after completing the application. Visa and MasterCard credit cards are accepted. Applications will not be considered complete, and players will not be placed on teams until payments are received.
To register, note the following instructions.
Region 418 makes a limited number of scholarships available. If you wish to inquire about or be considered for a full or partial scholarship, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com for a confidential discussion. No child will be excluded because their family cannot afford the registration fee.
In addition to a completed application and submission of the application fee, proof of age is required to be submitted for players NEW to Region 418. A copy of a birth certificate, passport, state ID or other document showing the new player's name and birth date can be mailed to AYSO Region 418 Registrar, 4507 N. Ravenswood, Suite 101, Chicago, IL 60640 or emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org.
As a reminder, all new and returning volunteers are required to submit volunteer applications. Volunteer applications are in addition to the volunteering interest information submitted with a player application. Volunteer applications can be submitted via www.eAYSO.org. Click on the "Apply as a new adult volunteer" or "Apply as a continuing adult volunteer" link as applicable.
REMEMBER, AYSO IS AN ALL-VOLUNTEER ORGANIZATION, AND VOLUNTEERS IN ALL CAPACITIES ARE NEEDED TO CONTINUE TO PROVIDE CHICAGO CHILDREN THE HIGH QUALITY, POSITIVE SOCCER EXPERIENCE THAT AYSO REGION 418 OFFERS.
Only interest, not experience is needed. Region 418 will provide the training and mentorship you need to become a coach, referee, or other Region 418 volunteer.
eAYSO does not send an email confirmation of an application, but parents do receive, via our merchant service company, confirmation that their credit card payment of the player fee was successful. The "Online payments" and "Print player forms" features ONLY become operative in eAYSO when an application has been correctly completed and filed. So, if you can see the option to pay the fee online and/or print a copy of your child's application, you know that you successfully filed the application. Upon receipt of payment, the player is then registered by the region.
Should there be questions concerning the application process, please contact Barbara Passman, AYSO Region 418 Registrar, at email@example.com.
