Indoor Week 8 Update

CONGRATS 19U Team 2 Soccerfest Winners

Congratulations to 19U Team 2 for winning their divisions Soccerfest this year. There were some very exciting games and 1 shootout. Good luck to the high school girls in their upcoming season! March 1 and March 8^th are more or less pickup games for this division. Come and play for two hours if you’d like, there will be a referee.

"Winning" at AYSO

REMINDER: Winning at AYSO is different than in other leagues. Winning is when all of the payers get into the game, with near equal playing time, and play as a team. We include all players, boys, girls, skilled, first time playing, competitive, passive, and play them equally. Late in the season a lot of games are close and passionate. Remember our core values and support all of our players, coaches, and refs, to be the best they can be.

Remainder of the season schedule

March 1 – Regular games - 14U Pizza Party
March 8 – Regular games - 6U Pizza Party
March 15^th – Soccerfest (4-6U regular games, 19U no games)
March 22^nd – Open play (If coaches and parents play with the players they are not covered by AYSO insurance) If teams want to reserve a field and time, please let me know. First week of CPS vacation.

Soccerfest

March 15^th, 25-minute games, no half time, no ties. Champion and Finalist medals for the top two teams in each flight. Team positions will be set after March 8^th games and actual game time determined. More information in the coming weeks.
