7U to 14U Core Divisions

The 7U through 14U divisions are gender specific with separate teams for boys and girls. 7U and 8U are single year divisions, while 10U, 12U and 14U are two year divisions.

Teams are coached by parent volunteers. Teams stay together through both fall and spring seasons. New teams are formed each fall.

Games are played on Saturdays at the Chicago lakefront fields between Lawrence and Foster. Games are on a rotating schedule with games starting between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Typically 9-10 games are played each season, fall and spring. Teams hold one practice per week, which are scheduled by the volunteer coaches for a time and location that works with their availability.

These divisions have a year-end SoccerFest tournament during the last weekend of Spring Season.

Team assignments are released in mid-to-late August, depending on when the season starts. Fall season typically runs from early September to early November, and spring season runs mid-April to early June.

Player Friend Requests

Currently we do not have the ability to guarantee requests from parents in the fall and spring leagues for specific teams or to be paired with specific players.

Parents are encouraged to volunteer to coach, as coaches are guaranteed to coach with their children plus one additional player of their choice.

The DA's first priority is to build balanced teams by utilizing rankings and birth date, but may also consider zip codes and schools. Once team rosters are published and practice schedules are shared, if conflicts emerge parents may reach out to their player's assigned head coach to determine if a roster transfer can be made.

Uniforms

Players each receive an AYSO Region 418 uniform consisting of shirt, shorts, and socks the first week of the season. Coaches will distribute uniforms at the first practice or game.
